Brian Tipler is now a GAINS Quality Assured Business Coach.
Gloucestershire’s Accelerated Impact Network Support, GAINS
GAINS, Gloucestershire’s Accelerated Impact Network Support, is a newly launched programme, run by the University of Gloucestershire and supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
It’s been specifically created for local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with the potential and ambition to grow their business sustainably and achieve their goals. GAINS will build on the national service previously offered by Growth Accelerator and the Business Growth Centre.
To be accepted onto the GAINS scheme, businesses must meet certain criteria, which include being based within the area covered by GFirst LEP, meet the definition of ‘high growth’, and be able to complete the coaching programme within six months.
Once on the programme, management teams will receive access to four days of high-quality coaching, an in-depth business diagnostic, a series of masterclasses that tackle local high- growth SME needs, and inclusion within a Gloucestershire-specific, high-growth networking group.
The funding will run until December 2019, but is limited to just 220 Gloucestershire businesses, so enterprises are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to ensure that they benefit from the programme.
Enquires about the programme should be made to: firstname.lastname@example.org or 01242 715475
The project is managed by Geraldine McCullagh: email@example.com

Brian, I wish to thank you personally for the mentoring you gave in the consultation period with the business, you showed us the way on a number of points which will help to drive us on to succeed. I can say that you opened our eyes to the possibilities that are out there and now it is up to us to push the boundaries, which in turn will hopefully gain us extra clients and bring back those clients that have for some reason or another forgotten about us.BM - Director, Electrical Contracting Company, Coventry
